Hope Church exists to expand God's kingdom through equipping disciples and establishing gospel-centered churches that fulfill the great commission alongside strategic church partners.
Love. Equip. Send.
We desire to be carriers of God’s love to a hurting world. We want to equip believers in their faith so they can grow deeper in relationship with Jesus. And we don’t want to keep the hope we’ve found in the gospel to ourselves, we want to follow God as he sends us out to share this hope with others, in our families, communities, and around the world.
So these words - love, equip, send - are the foundation of everything we do. This is how we live out our vision of bringing glory to God and building his kingdom.
LOVE : God's love is what allows us to have true hope and healing in our lives. It is our desire to be known by how we wholeheartedly love God and others.
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” - Matthew 22:37-40
EQUIP : We desire to build God's kingdom by equipping people to move one step closer in their relationship with Him. We do this through community groups, corporate worship and sacrificial giving.
Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. - Hebrews 13:20-21
SEND : Our aim is to fulfill the great commission by bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to our homes, communities, and world through the local church.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20
