Will & Sarah Davis // Community Group Directors
Will and Sarah have served in various capacities both in the church and in para-church ministries for many years. Both Will and Sarah love the arts, have done extensive traveling and are always up for an adventure. In 2015, Will and Sarah decided it was time to be grown in their faith and marriage by leaving their safety net in New Jersey to join Robb and Tabitha in the vision the Lord gave of planting Hope Church in South Carolina.
Hope Church has been a long time coming. Many years ago, after God gripped Robb’s heart, he knew that his desire and calling was to reach people with the message of hope that only comes from Jesus Christ. Robb believed that church planting was what God wanted him to do, but he had no idea how long it would take to come about or where God would lead Robb and his wife, Tabitha in the process.
Knowing his desire to serve God and others as a pastor, Robb also realized his need for more training and education and spent several years of preparation. As his schooling was drawing to a close, the pull on his heart to church plant intensified and they began praying about where they should go and how to plant a church. The greater Charleston, SC area was brought to their attention and after much prayer, visiting, and talking with other pastors, they felt confirmed in their desire to go and plant a church. As they shared their desire and plans, others have joined their team and have relocated to the Charleston area to invest in the lives of the people there.
The desire of Hope Church is to bring true hope to the people of the greater Charleston area, teaching them about a relationship with Jesus Christ, discipling them and growing with them in an even greater love for Jesus. We want to love, equip, and send every person that comes to Hope Church with the power of the Gospel. We believe that the Gospel changes our lives and how we live, and we want to invite you to join us as we seek to share this incredible grace with the entire city of Charleston.
